This page outlines the terms and conditions for staying at Castleshaw Holiday Home, providing clear information about bookings, cancellations, and other important policies to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests.
Booking, reservations & cancellations
All bookings at Castleshaw must be confirmed with a deposit. Full payment is required 45 days prior to arrival. All cancellations 45 days or more before arrival are subject to a £30 administration charge. Please review cancellation policies below carefully to avoid any misunderstandings.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in is available from 4:00 PM on day of arrival, and check-out is by 11:00 AM on departure day,
Early arrivals or late departures may be possible, depending on other guest bookings — just let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Guest responsibilities
Guests are required to respect the property and the surrounding neighbourhood to ensure the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of all. Quiet hours are strictly observed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

How do I make a reservation at Castleshaw?
Reservations can be made online through our website or by contacting us directly.
What is the cancellation policy at Castleshaw?
Cancellations made 45 days or more before arrival will receive a full refund minus a £30 administration charge.
For cancellations made within 45 days of arrival we’ll do our best to re-let the dates. If we’re unable to do so, the full rental amount will be due. We recommend that all guests take out travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations.
Electric Vehicle Owners – PLEASE NOTE
It is forbidden to charge any electric vehicles from the domestic electricity supply at Castleshaw Holiday Home.
Are pets allowed at Castleshaw Holiday Home?
We welcome pets by prior arrangement at Castleshaw Holiday Home. Please ensure we are notified if you plan to bring your pet. Maximum number of pets per stay is two.
How many people can stay?
Maximum occupancy at Castleshaw Holiday Home is seven persons – 6 adults / children and 1 infant. Your numbers must not exceed these numbers.
What check-in and check-out times should I expect?
Check-in is from 4 PM and check-out is by 11 AM.
How do I obtain keys for the property?
At Castleshaw Holiday Home we operate self check-in entry. On arrival day you will receive a text once the property is prepared and ready – you will be given a 4 digit key code which gives you access to our key box (located beside the front entrance), where you will find the keys. Your holiday starts here!
How should I leave the property?
We respectfully ask that guests tidy up on morning of departure and leave the house as it was found, clean and tidy.
Damages and breakages?
If anything gets damaged or broken during your stay, please let us know before you leave. We’ll do our best to sort out any repairs as affordably as possible, and any costs would simply be passed on to you the guest.
